NWI Equipment Purge
Several chapter items are lounging in my basement. These are items we used for slide shows that more than likely will not be used again. All of my programs are and will be digital.

I know, I resisted digital for the longest time. I shot slide film until they priced me out of the practice. I finally broke down and bought the digital camera in September 2020.

The reason for digital is even more compelling when sharing programs. The images are sharper and brighter.

And the required equipment has been reduced substantially. The cassette tape, two trays of slides if not more and the slides filling them are reduced to a thumb drive. What took up a suitcase, can fit in my pocket. Then there was the tri-level projector stand and two projectors which were replaced with a digital projector. Reminds me of the railroads swapping four F-units for two SD40s.

The Board has been presented with the “what do we do with this stuff” in past meetings. Generally, do what I need to do.

So, are you interested in acquiring any of these items for your own use?
The list includes but not limited to:
2 - Chief tri-level projector stands
2 - Gemini Dissolve units
1 - 4-track Port-a-studio older model, it works
1 - 4-track Mark-III Port-a-studio, it works
These are a mix of chapter and my own items. All proceeds will go toward the Holiday Party fund for 2026.
